Dear Dr. Birch,

Attached is the addendum including an expanded explanation of our
proposed research.

I should point out that the research already accomplished and proposed
in psychoacoustics is under the direction of John Grey who has recently
recieved his Phd. in psychology in work with Professors Roger Sheperd
and Earl Schubert.  It is most definately a group effort, however, where
each of us  makes a substantial contribution to the research; for example,
it is the work of A. Moorer, a Phd. in Computer Science, which provided
the signal processing techniques and algorithms for analysis which is the essential
first step in the development of the data reduction strategies.
